I just want free hints... ,

Almost unplayable

The game itself is wonderful- song choices, actual gameplay, free songs, and daily challenges etc. But the number of adverts is ridiculous. Every time you finish a song, you get an advert. For free songs that's an advert, then seconds of actual game play, then another advert. I understand why there are adverts and am not saying they should be completely removed, but the volume of them is a serious issue. Then, the fact that there is basically no way to earn smoola to buy songs. You might get 1 or 2 for levelling up, but that's insane considering songs are 25 at their cheapest and many are 50 or 75. Really the only way to earn smoola is watching videos, which would be fine if it weren't for the ludicrously high volume of adverts already. There's encouraging people to pay for a premium version for perks, then there's destroying the free version of your game to make the only reasonably playable version the paid one. This is the latter, and it's a joke. A really good game that is just sabotaging itself really

Greed ruined it!

I used to play this game daily and even upgraded to the VIP subscription. I haven't played for about two years and on rediscovery, I did plan to do exactly the same now- it's a great game and very therapeutic to a music lover like me. However, on navigating the updated app before I dived in, I decided to poke a little deeper. I realised that Smule has become so utterly riddled with ads that the joy has been sucked out of the game and across the brand. Free songs are simply NOT FREE if you have to sit through the same unskippable ads again and again just to play them (or replay them) and don't earn anything. Particularly if you are travelling or on data. Plus, subscription has gone up from £5.99 per month to around £20???? It seems to me that Smule has become motivated only by profit and greed, not any
kind of customer satisfaction and thus, it has fallen into the same trap as many long-standing app providers- bullying customers into premium subscriptions through frustration at a constant barrage of interruptions. For this reason alone, I elect to abandon the brand and take my hard-earned money elsewhere to games providers with some sort of conscience! I suggest that anyone else who wishes to encourage platforms to clean up their greedy behaviour and improve the customer experience should do the same. Disgraceful! We should not be shoehorned into supporting these aggressive money-grabbing brands.

Times can change

Back in the day, this game was the top tire of apps, a game with a special place, in my heart- so special I bought blooming, vip!
I decided; “it’s been a long time that I’ve played magic piano- I’ll download it and play again!” Then as the game was installing, I saw the comments. They said things like “this game is a waste of money!” Or “why did I buy this trash?” I was thinking, that they were being stupid or something. Then I tried out some of the songs on the main menu. They’ve changed since then, and I don’t like them anymore so I tried typing in some famous songs into the songbook. So I did that, and all of them were brilliantly composed! (GG players) so I did think all the other commenters were being idiots. Then, I realised that I didn’t have a lot of coins, so I went to the good old, “ways to get coins” menu, and clicked video. As far as I remember I’d always do the same back then- anyway. I watched about 15 videos, thinking “finally, I have enough!” So I got back to the songbook when I realised I didn’t have enough. So I get it. Errors happen- but this went to far. I went back to get more coins, when it wouldn’t even let me watch the ad/video for coins. After about 5 minutes of “intense” clicking, it finally went on an ad. I watched it- BUT IT STILL GIVES ME NO COINS!!! C’mon Smule, your better than this
